Got these in the mail today:
Pretty nifty little books. However, my question is, is the guide on the right suppose to look like that? It looks like someone copied the pages and made a pamphlet out of it. This same guide also happened to come with the Redwall book which is the 10th Anniversary paperback edition.
Glad to have these out of the way nonetheless. From what I've found, there are a few other teaching guides out there but it may be awhile before I get around to picking them up.Read more >
Not much to announce in my collection except for the fact that I am 4 books away from a complete 1st edition hardback collection :) Missing Mattimeo (this seems difficult to find at a good price), Eulalia!, Doomwyte, and The Sable Queen. I'll eventually get them to finish it all off but for now, I'm kind of taking a break. That is unless I come across decently priced copies.....
Other than that, I've got a few special Redwall items coming in the mail to me soon :) Once I have about 4 or 5 special items, then I'll make an update posting some pics.
In other news, I was very sad to hear about Mr. Brian Jacques :( He is my favorite author by far and it almost brought me to tears to learn about his untimely end in life. I don't read as much as I …Read more >
Since before Christmas I bought some Redwall figurines (made by Julia London) and it wasn't until yesterday that I was able to pick them up. I spent my Christmas in Louisiana so I had all my packages sent to my grandmother's house in Illinois. I finally got back, went to visit her, and opened up the boxes! The first box that I bought from Julia's website contained these 3 little guys:
The other box I got from Ebay. I got extremely lucky in finding this guy so quickly after finding out about these figurines:
