Soldier Story: Prologue

Dear Journal,

I am leaving the Marshlands for the first time. Ever since The Long Patrol came and fended of the bandits pillaging our small community I have envied them. I told my parents I was going to join them, they respected this, all though my mum had a little tear in her eye. I was givin' enough vittles to last me a few moons and a bow and arrow, enough to get me to Salamandastron. I said my good bye and was off south. I will write again when I reach Salamandastron. Wish me luck on my trip.

I like it. Oh, by the way Laria, I think that Abbess Germaine kept a journal,but they are fairly rare. Just the thing about a hare writing reminded me of when Scarum was forced to keep the ship's log, and he wrote the whole thing in a hare accent. I loved that part! KIC matey!

Oooooo!! This sounds good!! and Laria, I think it was just typed like that maybe because Remy doesn't have too great of spelling, and it makes it more real too life, I think. But keep writing! this sounds good!

Nice start mate! I've never known anyone who kept a journal, besides Columbine's journal in Doomwyte. There are a few errors, like you spelt vittles 'vittels', you typed givin' 'giv'in and good bye 'good by'. Otherwise its great!
