A long time ago, I used to collect these books as they were published, so stumbling on this wiki I started reminiscing.

I remember reading about the ancient Badger Lords carved into the stone walls of a secret chamber in Salamandastron, but no matter how many times I tried to find the passage after reading it that first time it evaded me.

Hoping that the wiki would be able to help me find the reference, I searched here and came across the Spearlady Gorse article. Assuming it had just been copied and pasted (I clearly didn't know much about this wiki at the time!) I was going to edit "S/he" to "She", but found the article locked, with the talk page showing an ongoing dispute.

I got out the books again and managed to find the references in Mossflower and Lord Brocktree, which I have added to the talk page. Thankfully the article listed where she was referenced or I wouldn't have been known where to start.

I don't mean to be disrespectful or undermine to those who have made this wiki the resource it is, but having thought a lot about the principles behind fictional universe wikis and believing in (most of!) the guiding principles of wikis in general (and the consensus of well informed editors especially), I decided to add a petition to build a consensus about the disagreement there.

I hope you will find the time to read it over (it's a really short petition!) and sign it whichever way your opinion holds.

Many thanks, and keep up the good work!
