Wild King MacPhearsome was the powerful eagle king of the northern mountains. Despite his unpredictable personality, he proved to be a goodbeast and was impressed by the courage and determination of Thrugg the otter. As a result, he allowed him to pick the Flowers of Icetor from his mountain as the cure for Dryditch Fever and even carried Thrugg's travelling companion Dumble the mousebabe back to Redwall Abbey with the vital flowers in the otter's haversack.
